THIELMANN TAKES A PIONEERING STEP TOWARD SUSTAINABILITY AT THE GRANADA PLANT

In a pioneering move towards a greener future, THIELMANN is proud to introduce the THIELMANN Sustainability Committee, a dedicated team committed to advancing sustainable practices at our Granada, Spain plant. This marks the inaugural stage of this sustainability initiative, with plans for expansion to our other plants in the near future. Comprising a group of enthusiastic individuals, this committee is driven by a passion for compliance, environmental stewardship, meeting customer expectations, and fostering collaboration to tackle the challenges of today and tomorrow.

The decision to create the Sustainability Committee stems from our recognition of the growing concerns about the impact of industries, including ours, on the environment and local communities. By establishing this committee, we demonstrate our unwavering commitment to social and environmental responsibility, addressing sustainability-related challenges head-on.

Compliance with regulations and standards is crucial in ensuring our operations align with the increasingly stringent government guidelines. The Sustainability Committee will play a pivotal role in helping THIELMANN PORTINOX SPAIN comply with these regulations, ensuring that best practices in sustainability are implemented throughout the organization.

By approaching sustainability strategically, we can enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, drive innovation in products and processes, and elevate THIELMANN's reputation. The Sustainability Committee will identify sustainability-related risks and opportunities and develop corresponding strategies to address them.

Today's customers and consumers value sustainability and expect companies to adopt responsible practices. Our Sustainability Committee will enable us to better understand and respond to these demands, ensuring that we meet and exceed their expectations. By aligning our practices with their values, we can enhance customer loyalty and differentiate ourselves in the market.

Aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, THIELMANN PORTINOX SPAIN has set internal objectives across various areas. These include reducing environmental impact, improving resource efficiency, enhancing waste management, promoting social and labor responsibility, and driving innovation for sustainable product development. These objectives will guide our sustainability initiatives and projects.

To achieve our goals, we have outlined specific projects aimed at improving energy efficiency, enhancing waste management practices, implementing clean technologies, fostering a culture of sustainability through awareness and training programs, collaborating with the community, and seeking recognized sustainability certifications and standards. We are looking forward to sharing these projects and results in more depth in the near future.

The THIELMANN PORTINOX SPAIN Sustainability Committee is eager to embark on this journey towards a more sustainable future. By integrating sustainability into our daily practices, we aim to make a meaningful difference and contribute to a more sustainable world for our company and future generations.
